Disclosed is a fluorine-containing elastomer composition that maintains the normal-state properties of a branched fluorine-containing elastomer while reducing viscosity, without increasing the usage of an expensive monomer. A peroxide cross-linked fluorine-containing elastomer composition includes: (A) a branched fluorine-containing elastomer that has a cross-linking site that is peroxide cross-linkable, has a number average molecular weight between 1,000 and 300,000, and has a Mark-Houwink gradient (a) of less than 0.6 when the absolute molecular weight and intrinsic viscosity is plotted on a Mark-Houwink plot, with the x-axis being absolute molecular weight and the y-axis being intrinsic viscosity; and (B) a straight-chain type fluorine-containing polymer that has a number average molecular weight between 1,000 and 250,000, with a Mark-Houwink gradient (a) that is no less than 0.6.
