<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibiting agent for vasopermeability increase, an inhibiting agent of leucocyte migration from a blood capillary and a screening method thereof, a preventive or a symptom improving agent of brain inflammation and sepsis, including the inhibiting agent for vasopermeability increase as an active ingredient, and a method of treating or suppressing occurrence and symptoms of brain inflammation and sepsis by administering the inhibiting agent for vasopermeability increase. <P>SOLUTION: The fact that pranlukast unpassing or hardly passing the hematoencephalic barrier acts on vascular endodermal cells forming lumen and lumen structure of blood capillaries and has preventive action on leakage of plasma components, hemocyte and the like in the blood capillary into the tissue, has been found out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
