PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a response time from being delayed when any computer failure occurs in a computer system in which a plurality of computers are cooperatively operated. SOLUTION: This computer link system includes: a load information exchange means that can discover the failure of the load distribution server on the other end of the link by periodically exchanging load information; a failure information notification means that sends information about failure to a directory server 100; a failure information collection means 120 that receives information about the failure and passes the information to a failure information analyzing means 130; and the failure information analyzing means 130 on the directory server 100. The structure is such that at least two links can be guaranteed for each load distribution server, by means of decisions on the part of the failure information analyzing means 130 to set up new load accommodation links between load distribution servers. Thus, even when a failure occurs in a single load distribution server, connectivity between load distribution servers is maintained, and it is not necessary to restructure the entire group of load distribution servers.
