PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for calculating the current passing a parallel connection point of different power sources for detecting the current value of the current passing the parallel connection point running in a selector switch by an foundation CT when executing the parallel connection of different power sources at a selector section of an AC electric railroad vehicle. SOLUTION: The current passing the parallel connection point running in first and second selector switches is detected when closing the first selector switch between a trolley of a power source A and an intermediate section and the second selector switch between a trolley of a power source B and the intermediate section in parallel to the intermediate section insulated from both trolley cables in a selector section between the power sources A and B of an AC electric railroad vehicle by the AT AC feeding system. The detection is executed by using a measurement unit by an AC current sensor provided on an outer wire side of an automatic transformer provided between a feed line and a trolley cable with a rail as a neutral point in a vicinity of the first and second selector switches, and a parallel connection point passing current calculating unit capable of obtaining the parallel connection point passing current value by performing the arithmetic calculation of each current value on the power source A side and the power source B side obtained thereby.
