PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer an elevator monitoring function from the existing monitoring panel to a new monitoring panel without remodeling a control panel. SOLUTION: An interface device 15 is provided between existing/new control panels 11, 12 and existing/new monitoring panels 13, 14. The interface device 15 includes a connection state detection section 15a detecting connection of the new control panel 12 with an elevator operation signal output from the existing control panel 11 received by the existing monitoring panel 13, and a signal switching section 15b performing switching control over elevator operation signals output from the existing control panel 11 and new control panel 12 when the connection of the new control panel 12 is detected. Thereby, the elevator monitoring function is smoothly transferred from the existing monitoring panel 13 to the new monitoring panel 14 without remodeling the control panel.
