PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information on vehicle periphery or information about a vehicle state or a dangerous point to a driver in an easy-to-understand manner in a vehicle information display system for displaying a vehicle image while superimposing it on a panoramic view image. SOLUTION: A plurality of image data items captured by shooting the periphery of a vehicle and vehicle data indicative of a vehicle structure are combined to create a combination image. A coordinate system of the combination image is transformed into a panoramic view coordinate system with a viewpoint position of a driver or a point on a vehicle centerline with respect to a vehicle width as a virtual viewpoint to create a panoramic view image. The combination image is analyzed to identify an attention point around the vehicle, a distance between images is measured, and the image of the attention point and the distance are displayed on a display unit while being superimposed on the panoramic view image.
