摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of surely manufacturing porous alumina having fine pores arranged with high regularity and aluminum having fine structure on a surface without using chromic acid. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the aluminum having the fine structure on the surface includes: dissolving anodized porous alumina formed on the surface of the bare aluminum with an acidic aqueous solution which contains no chromic acid compound and in which the ratio S/P (unit:hmh<SP>-1</SP>V<SP>-1</SP>) of the rate S (unit:nmh<SP>-1</SP>) of dissolution of a barrier layer present in the bottom part of the fine pore to the formation voltage P (unit:V) becomes≤20; selectively removing the porous alumina film, while making a dipping time within the range of 0.9-1.8×d/s (unit:h) when the thickness of the barrier layer is defined as d (unit:nm), during dissolution; and leaving the trace of the high regularity fine pore arrangement of the removed anodized porous alumina on the bare aluminum surface. In the method of manufacturing the anodized porous alumina having high regularity fine pore arrangement, the bare alumina surface from which the porous alumina film is removed is again anodized.
