<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body which insures safety in handling and reliability in using an article held by surely protecting an article stored in an external carton from impact, vibration or the like during circulation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The packaging body for holding the article to be held in the external carton is equipped with a shock absorbing tool which is composed of a foam shock-absorbing sheet provided with a number of shock-absorbing projections in which air is sealed, and protects the external surface of the article to be held by a number of shock-absorbing projections, and an article holding tool which consists of a pair of substrates each with an approximately rectangular shape which pinch the shock-absorbing tool and fix it by a fixing means under a condition that the article to be held protected by the shock-absorbing tool is held at a window opening part, and a supporting flap which is continuously connected with at least a pair of opposing sides of respective substrates through a folding crease and is brought into contact with the inner wall of the external carton to support a pair of the substrates under a narrow condition so as not to move them from a specified position.
