<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine where illegal ball renting operation is found at an early stage even when connected with a ball renting machine which permits optional change of the number of renting balls. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes an operation start processing (RT15) of receiving a BRQ signal from the ball renting machine 22, thereafter primarily setting the number of balls to be outputted of one unit, and starting the ball renting operation, a count processing (RT306) of counting the number of times of carrying out the operation start processing (RT15) in a section where a BRDY signal is received from the ball renting machine 22, and notification processings (RT306, ST78) of outputting an excess signal ERR and carrying out notification operation when a counted result exceeds a reference value TH.
