<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polar modulation transmitter which can keep both an ACLR 1 and an ACLR 2 at a predetermined value or lower while suppressing complication of a circuit configuration and an increase in consumption current even if a transmission bandwidth is changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polar modulation transmitter includes an offset voltage forming unit 22 which forms an offset voltage that changes depending on transmission bandwidth information, and an adding circuit 14 which adds the offset voltage formed by the offset voltage forming unit 22 to a bandwidth element signal r1 (t).
