<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank mounting structure of a fuel pump, which reduces a cost while maintaining excellent attachability/detachability of a fuel pump unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tank mounting structure 110 of a fuel pump is provided with: a recess 111 in the top of a fuel tank 51; and a pump mounting hole 112 in the bottom 111a of the recess 111, into which a small diameter portion 121 of the fuel pump 52 inserted, and is also provided with: a plurality of belt-like projected pieces 134 on the side surface 111s of the recess 111; a seal member 131 between the side surface 111s of the recess 111 and a side surface 122s of a large diameter portion 122; a plurality of pawl portions 135 extending upward from the side surface 122s of the large diameter portion 122; and an engaging projection 136 engaged with the belt-like projected piece 134 in the pawl portion 135.
