<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device and an image forming device that can be miniaturized by reducing restriction on the positional relationship between a storage container for storing paper and a conveyance roll. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 10 is provided with an image forming device body 12, the storage container 202 for storing paper which is attached in the image forming device body 12 so as to be drawable, the conveyance roll 306 used for the conveyance of the paper, and a movement control mechanism moving the conveyance roll 306 from a first position used for the conveyance of the paper to a second position free from interference with a track upon the attachment of the storage container 202 in the image forming device body 12 in conjunction with the drawing of the storage container 202 from the image forming device body 12.
