<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite-mounted control system forming a double redundant system, which maintains the quality of service when switching from a main system satellite-mounted unit to a slave system satellite-mounted unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Commands relating to the setting of a configuration or the like of an unit are transmitted in a command format by erecting identifiable flags in the commands. A ground device or satellite-mounted data processing device executes these commands with respect to the main-system unit of the units forming a redundant constitution and, at the same time, temporarily stores these commands in a memory in the data processing device with respect to a slave system in an OFF state. Furthermore, a memory area is available to each unit mounted on a satellite. A data processing part monitors a switching state of each unit. When the occurrence of switching is determined, a command stored in the memory in the data processing device is read and transmitted to a unit newly becoming a main system, and the setting is performed.
