摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the brightness of the image in each field of an imaging means. SOLUTION: A light emission control part 28 in the electronic endoscope apparatus comprises a pulse generating part 280, an effective light emission time clocking part 281, a light emission target time setting part 282, a light emission signal generating part 283 and a comparison part 284. With this structure, the light emission control part 28 detects the effective light exposure time excluding a CCD reading signal (the shading period), and controls the light emission so that the total light emission time of the light emission control signal is a light emission target time within the detected effective light exposure time for the CCD to optimize the brightness of the image in each field of the CCD.
