A stator in which the height of a wall section of an insulator is reduced. Crossover wires (50a to 50c) of a coil (50) are routed on the outer peripheral surface of a wall section (57) of an insulator (51) so as to extend, when viewed in a direction perpendicular to an axis, in a direction oblique to a plane extending in a direction perpendicular to the axis.
