An absorptive article in which lotion applied to the article does not induce leakage of a bodily liquid and which allows the lotion to be reliably transferred to the human skin. On the human body side of a chassis is formed a separation sheet (3) capable of being spaced from the chassis. A first applied region (51) where the lotion is applied is formed in an intermediate portion (32) of the separation sheets (3). Second applied regions (52a, 52b) where the lotion is applied are formed on a human body-side liner of a liquid absorptive panel (23). Because the lotion is applied from the human body side toward the liquid absorptive panel (23)with the separation sheet (3) layered on the liquid absorptive panel (23), the first and second applied regions (51, 52a, 52b) are formed at the same time and a non-applied region (53) is formed at that position of the liquid absorptive panel (23) which is opposed to the intermediate portion (32).
