The invention relates to hair cleaning products containing plant extracts. The effect of plant extracts in general and of certain plant extracts in particular is increased if they contain, incorporated into a cosmetically acceptable carrier and based on their weight, (a) 0.1 to 35% by weight of at least one surfactant, (b) 0.1 to 10% by weight of at least one plant extract, and no compounds of formula (I), wherein n represents integers between 1 and 100,000.
