SOLAR CELL SUBSTRATE AND SOLAR CELL

A solar cell substrate for producing a solar cell having an excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency. The solar cell substrate has a laminate of a glass sheet (I) and a texture layer (II). The substrate is characterized in that the texture layer (II) is made of a resin formed by curing a (met)acryl photo-setting composition (i), and a substrate (a) of a 1-cm square in the central part of the solar cell substrate satisfies the following conditions (A) and (B). (A) There are at most two recesses having a diameter over 1.5 µm when the rough surface of the texture layer (II) is observed with an electron microscope (SEM) having a 10-µm square field of view. (B) The maximum height difference between the top and bottom of the roughness is 0.3 µm or less when the rough surface of the texture layer (II) is observed with an atomic force microscope (AFM) having a 10-µm square field of view.
