PURPOSE: An electro-optical device and an electronic apparatus is provided to improve image quality by projecting not only an image from one side but also an image from the other side and reducing crosstalk. CONSTITUTION: In an electro-optical device and an electronic apparatus, first display elements are divided into at least a first area and a second area and show a first image. Second display elements are divided into at least a third region and a fourth region and show a second image. A parallax barrier(9) is formed by forming a light transmitting region a bounding area of a first and a third area and a bounding area of a first and a third area. A spacer layer makes the first display elements and the second display elements and parallax barrier separated with each other.
