<p>A method for single-step glass sheet embossing and its production are provided. The process includes: firstly, washing the glass sheet and coating the surface with a treating agent then drying it, so as to keep said surface in a highly active state; secondly, pouring, printing or dripping UV-cured glue into a mould of the desired embossing pattern, and filling said mould; placing said glass sheet onto said mould so that the coated surface of the glass sheet contacts the glue, then applying rolling pressure on the glass sheet to level the glue between the glass sheet and the mould and remove bubbles; thirdly, putting the rolled glass sheet together with the mould into UV-curing equipment to cure the glue, then demoulding to form an embossed glass sheet. The method combines the glue-application, pressure-application and UV-curing techniques so as to form an embossed pattern on a glass sheet in a single-step process. Therefore, the process shortens the work flow, improves efficiency, and is suitable for industrial production. It also greatly improves product yield and reduces cost.</p> |
