The arrangement has a power socket (1) arranged within a recess of an inner lining part (3) i.e. system plate, of a motor vehicle i.e. lorry. The recess is arranged freely accessible in the inner lining part from the outside. The power socket is arranged in an area of a storage surface (2) of the system plate for an electrical consumer (4). The power socket is directly arranged in a cover with the storage surface. The power socket is arranged within the recess of the storage surface. An element (6) is formed as a mat and arranged at the storage surface for covering the power socket.
