<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin, compact and wide angle image input device for entering a vein image with high quality by imaging the wide range vein of the finger, and a compact and thin personal identification device using the image input device. <P>SOLUTION: A finger vein 2 is imaged by an image sensor 6 through an optical system composed of a lens array 3 and a light shielding member 4. With respect to a compound eye image including the pickup finger vein image, a correction processing part 104 performs correction processing for removing the effect of the deterioration of peripheral light quantity in its single eye image. Correction data to be used for this correction are generated by a correction data acquisition part 102, and stored in a correction data storage part 103. A single image reconfiguration part 105 reconfigures the single image obtained by removing light quantity unevenness due to the deterioration of the peripheral light quantity from the compound eye image corrected by the correction processing part 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
