<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set current attenuation speed to be low and to discharge energy without quenching a superconducting coil at the time of a stop when abnormality such as an input power loss of an excitation means does not exist in the superconducting coil and energy is not necessary to be discharged rapidly. <P>SOLUTION: A superconducting coil system includes the superconducting coil 1, the excitation means 3 exciting the superconducting coil, an opening/closing means 4 opening/closing an electric path connecting the superconducting coil 1 with the excitation means 3, first and second discharging means 51 and 52 which are arranged in the superconducting coil 1 in parallel and whose current attenuation time constants differ, a switching means 6 which changes over to one discharging means and forms a closed circuit with the superconducting coil, and a control means 7 giving an opening command to the opening/closing means 4 when at least an abnormality detection signal or an emergency stop signal detected on an excitation means-side or a superconducting coil-side is inputted, giving a switching command to the switching means 6, selecting the discharging means of the current attenuation time constant decided in accordance with an object of abnormality detection and discharging energy of the superconducting coil with the superconducting coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
