<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of limited shortcut key resources and keep overall use efficiency of an apparatus at a high level. Ž<P>SOLUTION: If a user selects and operates a shortcut key related to a required function, a difference extraction section extracts a difference between setting information on the shortcut key read out from a function registering section and default setting information, In response thereto, a display control section causes a touch panel section to display a list of setting information on the difference extracted in the difference extraction section by setting information of items related to each of the functions and identification information related to a group belonging to each of the functions.
