PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an excellent solid fuel with high safety and a reduced carbon dioxide emission from the feces of a domestic animal. Ž
SOLUTION: Effective microbial populations including an aerobic bacterial population and an anaerobic bacterial population is mixed into bean curd lees. By primary fermentation of the mixture, a fermentation aiding floor covering material for cow feces, a fermentation aiding floor covering material for pig feces and a fermentation aiding floor covering material for chicken feces are produced. Into these fermentation aiding floor covering materials, effective microbial populations including alkalophilic Bacillus sp. Tateyama Tsurugi FERM BP-10691, alkalophilic Bacillus sp. Tateyama Yakushi FERM BP-10692, halophilic Bacillus sp. Tateyama Joudo FERM BP-10693, anaerobic Atopostipes sp. Tateyama Menanji FERM BP-10690 and anaerobic and halophilic Clostridium sp. Tateyama Ryuuou FERM BP-10694 are mixed, respectively. Each of the cow feces, the pig feces and the chicken feces is separately fermented with each of the fermentation aiding floor covering materials to produce a first cow feces charcoal floor, a first pig feces charcoal floor and a first chicken feces charcoal floor. The first cow feces charcoal floor, the first pig feces charcoal floor, the first chicken feces charcoal floor, a fermented eggshell calcium powder and a charcoal powder are mixed, and the resultant mixture is subjected to secondary fermentation.
