<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of performing the amplification of a gene by a PCR method using a small-sized microinspection chip. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A liquid sending part for sending a liquid within the microinspection chip is provided, and a temperature variable part having a plurality of temperature regions and the microinspection chip are relatively moved to repeat a temperature cycle in a state that the liquid is stopped within the microinspection chip. Accordingly, the inspection device is provided, wherein the amplification of the gene by the PCR method can be performed using the small-sized microinspection chip without requiring a long flow channel on the microinspection chip.
