PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure of an electric motor that enables magnetic steel sheets of a thin plate shape to be stacked uniformly and precisely and to be fixed strongly without using crank pins and the like. SOLUTION: A center hole 15, into which a rotor shaft 5 is inserted, magnets-storing holes 16, into which permanent magnets 4 are inserted, and coupling and fitting portions 10, which couple and fix the portions between adjacent magnetic steel sheets 3 by fitting the portions between the stacked and adjacent magnetic steel sheets 3, are formed in each of the magnetic steel sheet 3. The coupling and fitting portions 10, the portions between at least the magnets-storing holes 16 and the outer peripheral side of the magnetic steel sheets 3 in the radial direction of the rotor, are formed inside all magnetic poles structured by permanent magnets 4 inserted into the magnets-storing holes 16. Presser plates, in which a hole for inserting the rotor shaft 5 is formed, are each provided at both ends formed by stacking each magnetic steel sheet 3.
