<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus capable of performing miniaturization by effectively utilizing a dead space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 11 includes a conveying unit 13 for conveying cut paper 12 from the right side to the left side, a recording head unit 14 arranged so as to oppose the cut paper 12 conveyed by the conveying unit 13 and jetting ink toward the cut paper 12 from respective nozzles 15, and both cap units 33 and 34 having a plurality of caps for covering respective nozzles 15 when being at a contacting position for being brought into contact with the recording head unit 14. In addition, the length of occupation of the conveying unit 13 is constituted so as to be longer than the length of occupation of the recording head unit 14. Furthermore, both cap units 33 and 34 is constituted so as to be movable between a retreating position and a contacting position being both adjoining positions pinching the recording head unit 14 in the right and left directions.
