The electrical rim motor has iron core-field or iron free field magnet coils. The rotating rim is equipped with multiple permanent magnet rows, where the air-core or iron free stator contains field coils as drum ring. Alternative fittings of the rim body and three-phase generator with iron core-field or magnet coils are also provided. An independent claim is included for an integrated braking system and emergency brake as drum or disk.
