A driving device for a linear body is provided, and with such driving device, treatment can be quickly restarted manually even when an abnormality is generated. A driving device (1) for a linear body (30) is provided with a fixing section which can fix a Y connector having a through hole formed thereon, and an actuator including a driving roller (5) and a driven roller (6) for moving a linear body (30), which is inserted into the through hole of the Y connector, in a longitudinal axis direction. The linear body (30) and the Y connector can be integrally attached and removed manually to and from the fixing section.
