<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous flame burner for forming luminous flames and using flame radiation while still having the characteristic of stable high load combustion of tubular flames. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The luminous flame burner includes: a jetting part 4 for jetting an air-fuel mixture of air and fuel gas to an inner face of a burner body 1 forming a cylindrical combustion space 2 in the tangential direction, wherein the air-fuel mixture jetted from the jetting part 4 revolves in the combustion space 2, forms tubular flames, and burns; and an axial fuel injection part 5 for injecting the fuel gas to a wall face center part of an end 2a axially in the combustion space 2 axially from the wall face center part.
