PURPOSE: A honeycomb structure is provided to reduce the amount of a noble metal catalyst dipped on the honeycomb structure, and to offer efficient NOx processing performance. CONSTITUTION: A honeycomb structure(100) is comprised of honeycomb units(130). The honeycomb unit contains an inorganic particle and an inorganic binder. A plurality of cells are divided by a cell wall drawn from a first section(110) to a second section(115). A noble metal catalyst and a NOx occulusion catalyst are dipped on the cell wall. The catalyst amount of the cell wall located on the first section is different with the catalyst amount of the cell wall on the second section. |
