The arrangement has a manual control element (3) to activate or deactivate the engine-continuous rotation-function. A current vehicle condition is monitored for the execution of the engine-continuous rotation-function. The current vehicle condition is partial redundant monitored by two vehicle systems (12,14,24) in connection with the engine-continuous rotation-function. One vehicle system is carried out as master controller and another vehicle system as slave controller for the engine-continuous rotation-function. An independent claim is included for a vehicle with a combustion engine.
