<p>This object aims to provide an information providing device, a recording medium on which a computer program is recorded and an information providing method that can shorten response waiting time for communication processing and reduce interruption of dialog so as to provide desired information without giving stress to a user. An information providing device is comprised of an action schedule acquisition means that acquires an action schedule of a user, an information acquisition means that predicts determined retrieval contents in accordance with the action schedule of the user before the user inputs information required for selecting and determining the retrieval contents and acquires information in the predicted scope from the external server device, and an information providing means that, when the information required for selecting and determining the retrieval contents is inputted from the user, retrieves information corresponding to the input information from the information acquired by the information acquisition means and provides the retrieved information to the user.</p> |
