A titanium plate which exhibits both high strength and excellent workability, specifically, a titanium plate characterized by being made of a titanium material which contains by mass iron: >0.10% and <0.60%, oxygen: >0.005% and <0.20%, carbon: <0.015%, nitrogen: <0.015%, hydrogen: <0.015% with proviso that the iron content is higher than the oxygen content and with the balance being titanium and unavoidable impurities in such a way that a two-phase structure composed of a phase and ß phase is formed and the circle-equivalent mean diameter of the a phase is 10µm or below.
