PURPOSE: A device for correcting operation of an automatic knife and a method thereof are provided to offer convenient and smooth sewing operation, and to control the knife automatically. CONSTITUTION: A device for correcting operation of an automatic knife includes a secondary pneumatic part(22), a detection part, and a control part. The secondary pneumatic part supplies the pressure for operation, and inhales unnecessary pressure for normal operation. The detection part measures the pressure. The control part compares the measured pressure and the pressure in normal operation. The control part controls the secondary pneumatic part in case the measured pressure is bigger than the pressure in the normal operation.
