DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS IN A INDUSTRIAL ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A safety door opening/closing device of an industrial elevator is provided to prevent an accident by making the voluntary opening door by an operator impossible. CONSTITUTION: A rack is located on top of a door(5) mounted on one side of a carrier(4). A pinion(22) is connected to a driving shaft(21) mounted on top of a case(4a), is meshed with the rack and rotates relative to the ascent and descent motion of the rack. A driving sprocket wheel(23) is connected to the driving shaft and rotates along with the rotation of the pinion. A chain(24) is meshed with the driving and driven sprocket to deliver the driving force of the driving sprocket to the driven sprocket. A transmission piece(25) is mounted on the part of the chain. A wire(15) is fixed in one side of a fixture mounted on top of a safety door. The wire is fixed at one side of a weight(14) arranged on the lower part of the safety door.
