WATER LEVEL KEEPING STRUCTURE FOR FLOODGATE AND FLOODGATE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A management water level maintenance structure for a water gate and a water gate using the same are provided to be environment-friendly and to save the energy because of power-less operation. CONSTITUTION: A management water level maintenance structure for a water gate comprises a secondary waterway, a secondary door(20), a drain line, a water tank(40), and a secondary door releasing unit(30). The secondary waterway is formed on top of the water gate. The secondary water gate is installed within a certain angular range around the bottom of the secondary waterway in the portion in which the secondary waterway is formed and allowed to turn. The inlet of the drain line is placed in the inner top of the water gate and the outlet is placed outside the water gate. The drain line is installed in order to discharge the water through the outlet according to rising of the water level up to the top of the secondary waterway. The water tank is installed outside the water gate and allowed to move vertically and stores the water discharged through the outlet. The secondary door releasing unit turns the secondary water gate down to completely open the secondary waterway when the tank moves down. The secondary water gate includes a body(21) and a buoyant member(26).
