PURPOSE: A pump mounting method using a cargo transferring pump protective gear of a liquid gas bulk carrier ship is provided to reduce the time for constructing an inner wall. CONSTITUTION: A pump mounting method using a cargo transferring pump protective gear of a liquid gas bulk carrier ship comprises followings. A cargo transferring pump is loaded. A cargo transferring pump is assembled while an opening of the cargo transferring pump is being sealed at a dock or an assembling place. The cargo transferring pump is mounted inside the inner wall of the liquid gas bulk carrier ship at the dock. The ship is launched. The cargo space strength test is performed. The clear water for the strength test is removed. The air-tightness of the opening of the cargo transferring pump is canceled.
