PURPOSE: A chelating agent-conjugated α-MSH derivative is provided to early diagnose and treat melasma with high selectivity to melanocortin -1 receptor. CONSTITUTION: A chelating agent is 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid (DOTA) or diethaylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) in a chelating agent-conjugated α-MSH derivative. A method for producing the chelating agent-conjugated α-MSH derivative comprises: a step of coupling amino acids; a step of conjugating the chelating agent to the α-MSH derivative; and a step of removing protection group.
