The tapered detachment roller has a cylindrical central section (M), with two successive conical sections (K1, K2) at each end. The second (K2) of these has greater taper than the first (K1). There are alternatively up to six conical end sections (K1-K6) in succession. Circumferential surfaces (U1-U4) of the conical sections (K1-K4) run in a line of curvature expressed by a formula provided in the disclosure. Further design details are elaborated.
