CORE FOR FORMING INHALATION/EXHAUST PORTS OF A CILINDER HEAD

PURPOSE: A sucking/exhausting port forming core for a cylinder head is provided to position a probe on a horizontal groove made in the opening of a sucking/exhausting port in order to measure a change in a shape or size of the sucking/exhausting port. CONSTITUTION: A sucking/exhausting port forming core for a cylinder head comprises a core print(21), port forming unit(22), and branching unit(23). The core print is fixed to a mold. The port forming unit is extended from the core print. The branching unit is branched from the port forming unit. A horizontal boss(25) is protruded from the branching unit in order for the horizontal groove to be positioned in a cylinder-combustor-sided opening of the cylinder head.
