<p>The method involves storing digital data sets that are required for reading data e.g. video or audio data, according to a predetermined convection. The data sets are provided with a special area at an irregular position that is determined according to the predetermined convection. The irregular position is not utilized when reading the data according to the predetermined convection. Safety data sets are provided with safety information by the data sets, where the safety data sets are stored in storage medium that is embedded in the special area. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for storing data in a storage medium, comprising a safety data set forming unit (2) a method for correcting errors when reading data that is stored on the storage medium in a playback device (3) a playback device comprising datasets.</p> |
