PURPOSE: A water treatment system is provided to reduce COD chemically by using hypochlorous acid not biological treatment, and to supply chlorine gas to a gas-liquid mixing unit by supplying a part of processed water to an electrolytic cell. CONSTITUTION: A water treatment system includes a gas-liquid mixing unit(6) generating hypochlorous acid and an electrolytic cell(5). The gas-liquid mixing unit electrolyzes water containing the hypochlorous acid. The electrolyzed water is supplied to the processed water to reduce COD. A part of the processed water is supplied to the electrolytic cell. The processed water contains an amphiphilic solvent. |
