PURPOSE: A polymer film stretching method is provided to perform effective off-line stretching of a TAC film by preventing an adhesive film from remaining. CONSTITUTION: A polymer film stretching method for stretching a polymer film strip carried on a line into a film(3) in the width direction is as follows. The polymer film strip is extended the film width direction while catching both lateral ends of the polymer film strip. The former and following films are attached to the polymer film strip by overlapping the leading end of the following film on the back end of the former film using a double-sided adhesive tape. The length of the double-sided adhesive tape in the film transfer direction is shorter than the length of the leading and back ends. |
