PURPOSE: An engine information providing method is provided to enable a user to obtain management information or warnings using an audio in case the temperature of an engine is determined as the overheat in stopping the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An engine information providing method comprises following steps. The speed of the vehicle is periodically sensed and the temperature information of the engine is received in a central controlling part from an engine temperature sensor in the stop of the vehicle(S71,S73,S75). In the central controlling part, whether the temperature of the engine is overheated or not is determined(S77). In case the temperature of the engine is overheated, the central controlling part provides the engine temperature overheating information to a driver(S79,S81).
