The integrated circuit arrangement has a control unit (JC) or an interface (JD) with a circuit unit. The control unit and the interface are adjusted and controlled such that data (jo) is transmitted into a transmission mode over a connecting contact (SDAT). The circuit unit after receiving a flank changes the voltage states (Vm,Vh). The temporal operational sequence of a half clock cycle of the clock (T) in other voltage state (V1) is different from the one of the voltage states. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device with connecting contacts for a serial data or signal exchange; and (2) a method for serial transferring data by modulation of signal voltage.
