METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING BISTABILITY OF ELECTROWETTING

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for obtaining bistability of electrowetting are provided to achieve a simple structure and the high definition in application of the electronic paper. CONSTITUTION: In the droplet formation step, the conductivity droplet is formed on the conductive board(S100) in which the insulating layer is coated. In the voltage applying step, the electric potential difference is formed between a droplet and substrate(S110) by connection the external power. In the voltage authorization cancellation stage, the connection of the external power supply is released. Therefore, a simple structure and the high definition can be obtained.
