[Class 37] In a dry contact rectifier each disc 1 has a layer 2 of compound on each face, the discs being assembled on one or more supporting rods 4 covered with insulating sleeves. The layers 2 of compound are connected to one another by a flanged sleeve 6 of plastic metal such as lead, shown as bearing by its flanges upon two dished washers 9. Units are separated from one another by insulating washers 13, the necessary connections being effected by strips 11, spot welded to the metal itself of each plate 1.</p> |
