[Class 37] In a dry contact rectifier each disc 1 has a layer 2 of compound on each face, the discs being assembled on one or more supporting rods 4 covered with insulating sleeves. The layers 2 of compound are connected to one another by a flanged sleeve 6 of plastic metal such as lead, shown as bearing by its flanges upon two dished washers 9.
