PURPOSE: A camera operation control device and a method thereof for optimizing source image are provided to control the operation of the camera automatically by supplying the optimized image based on the shape of the subject. CONSTITUTION: A camera operation control device(100) includes a source image generating unit(110), a source image information extracting unit(120), a database(130) and a control signal generating unit(140). The source image generating unit generates source image data. The source image information extraction unit extracts the native- video information from generated source image data. A database saves the video information it stays quiet. The control signal generating unit produces the camera control signal based on the video information it stays quiet with the native- video information.
